There are some things I just can’t resist buying: chocolate, books, and clothes with dots on. So when I came upon this dotted t-shirt, I just had to buy it. Oops! I’ve worn it this weekend while we went to have a hot chocolate in the city. Some things are just too good to resist.
What I like about this dotted tee is that it’s not just round dots. I already have several tops and tees with round dots, but it doesn’t always have to be the same. It’s the same with life: something less perfect can make life more fun! 😀
I paired the t-shirt with dotted tights I received from Veritas last year. When I was preparing to go outside, I first took my regular, plain black tights. I own TONS of them, and I also wear them quite regularly now that the weather has gotten colder, so wearing those felt all natural. But when I looked in the mirror, I felt like the outfit needed something more, something fun.
The dotted tights then crossed my mind, and even though I was a bit sceptic that it might be too much, I loved the result. My style is not that extravagant or anything, so wearing dotted tights did feel like a risk for me. However, I think they’ll end up in my regular tights basket now! 😀
Full outfit: Only dotted tee, S. Oliver blue cardigan, Pull&Bear skirt, Insua dotted tights, Mango floral bag
The floral bag I bought in the sales last year, but the strap broke soon after. With some DIY tools I could luckily repair it. It had been years since I had last bought a new bag, so if I buy one, it’s really worth it for me. I couldn’t imagine already having to throw him away!
I hope it won’t be the last time I’ll be able to take outfit pictures outside, because it has clearly become colder lately. And even though this outfit does not seem that warm, it really was; the tights felt warmer than my regular ones, and underneath the t-shirt I wore a black body. Anything to keep warm! 😀
Something else that made my outfit more fun: I got bored of my plain nails sometime this week, so I quickly put some leopard print on one of them. It’s all in the (fun) details! 😀
