I’ve never been good at resisting buying dungarees. They give that something extra to an otherwise normal jeans, or in this case skirt. You can easily pair it up or down with whatever you want and you don’t have to worry about that food baby showing because your stomach is covered. SUCH a winner! The moment I saw this dungaree dress at Pull & Bear I just knew I had to buy it.
Dungarees are quite the latest trend; I’ve seen them in every shop in all kinds of prints lately. This one also comes in a blue and white print and yes, I also really, really want to have it too!
I paired the dress with my “new” Mango backpack. I got it during the January sales, but had only worn it a few times before. Main reason for this is that once you open it, you (or anyone else really) can just go into it and take whatever they can since there are no zippers or anything inside it. I don’t really feel that safe walking around with it on the street, but I do love to take it with me when I’m seeing friends or family. It hasn’t become one of my go-to pieces, even though I’d love it to be one. Will have to do something about it, really.
This time I wore this backpack to a BBQ from one of the boyf’s friends. We shot the pics right before we went off and you can tell the mood was pretty good already. I love this kind of outfit, the weather was good and I was with the boyf. When I arrived at the BBQ one of the girls even complimented my outfit, so my day could not have been any better!
I paired the dungaree dress with a pair of shoes which has become one of my go-to pieces. It was my first pair of sneakers I bought in years and since then I’ve worn them every week at least once. They’re super comfy and the silver accent at the back gives them that little something extra.
I also absolutely love the ripped hem. I’ve never been one to tear my own pants in high school, but wearing something that was ripped when I bought it kind of gives me this though feeling. But then I of course pair it with something feminine because I’m not really that though. 😉
One thing I don’t like about the dungaree dress is that it really shifts up high whenever I sit down, making it super non work-proof. And you know how hard it is for me to find the perfect work-proof outfit. Might wear it in Winter with some dark sock though, so there’s still hope. 😉
I was wearing: Pull & Bear Denim pinafore dress, H&M striped top (also wore it while in Bordeaux), Tamaris sneakers, Mango backpack
Do you love a nice dungaree dress as much as I do? 😀

Leuke look!

You look very cute, although wearing white shoes to the BBQ would definitely not be a good idea for me – hope you can handle your shoes way better. Hope you had fun.

Thanks Dorota! It certainly helps that my shoes have a pattern on them, so stains on them go fairly unnoticeably. 😀

Agreed! It must probably be the best combo with the dungarees 😀

Thanks, Alexandra!
Stripes really match well with dark dungarees. I like the uneven hemline of the dungaree.
