A few weeks ago mine and some other teams were surprised with a manicure at work, which was super fun! I chose a lovely pink color, and afterwards I was loving the color so much I decided to buy it. And while I was waiting for my quiche to bake I decided to upgrade this plain manicure with some glitterssss. πŸ˜ƒ You simply can never go wrong with glitters!

First I applied a basic color coat; Hema’s 104 pink princess. Truth be told, I had already applied that a while before deciding to do a nail art, so it was completely dry.

This upgrade is so easy and can be done really fast! All you need is some glitter striping tape and some glitter nail polish. I used a Catrice effect coat 45 kitch me if you can.

When the base color coat is dried, you simply put the striping tape on your nails and put the glitter nail polish in between the two stripes. The best way to get as many glitters on that little part of nail is to use a toothpicker. You simply take a glitter from the brush with the tip of the tooth picker and place it wherever you want it to be placed. Apply a top coat and you’re done!

Super fast, super easy and a real upgrade to an otherwise simple and plain manicure. πŸ˜ƒ
What color are you currently wearing on your nails? πŸ˜ƒ
